Korean Language Evening Program at Yeongeon Campus Offered by SNU Language Education Institute The Korean Language Education Center of Language Education Institute in SNU is opening a Korean Language Evening Program in December 2009. Please read the following information for details. 1. Course Introduction ● Eligibility - Foreign learners or overseas Koreans who wish to learn Korean language (A high school diploma or equivalent qualification required) - Students who already have valid visa ● Course Objective - Students acquire the communication skills necessary for everyday life and understand Korean culture. ● Course Description - Each session consists of 10 weeks, the total of 60 hours of classes. - Each class consists of approximately 12 students. - "Active Korean (level 1~4)" developed by SNU LEI is used as a textbook. - Students meet on Mondays and Thursdays for three hours from 6:30 PM to 9:20 Period 1 18:30 - 19:20 Period 2 19:30 - 20:20 Period 3 20:30 - 21:20 ● Tuition - KRW 500,000 per session (Application fee of KRW 15,000 should be paid separately.) 2.
